1 SHOW ONLY! Two premier Ukrainian dance ensembles unite on stage in this powerful 90 minute celebration of culture, artistry, and community. Behold athletic virtuosity, expressive storytelling, and vibrant traditional and contemporary choreography performed by the Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble (Winnipeg) and Yevshan Ukrainian Folk Ballet Ensemble (Saskatoon) in a landmark interprovincial collaboration.
Building on their acclaimed joint appearance at Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival in 2022, United on Stage transforms that connection into a full co-production — highlighting collaboration, cultural exchange, and shared heritage across the Prairies. The thunderous Hopak finale brings both groups on stage at once - symbolizing unity, friendship, and the enduring strength of Ukrainian culture.
