The treasurer plays a key role in the operation of MWAF. Most of the work is remote. Eligibility: Men and women from anywhere in Canada. Must be residing in Canada. People that are visiting Canada are not eligible. Responsibilities Maintaining the financial status up to date, e.g., tracking expenditures, issuing invoices and refunds, communicating with bookkeepers and accountants, ensuring taxes are filed timely, reporting at Board meetings and AGM Assisting the Chair and Directors on pertinent matters Maintaining membership registration and fees up today Maintaining MWAF status as a non-profit up today Taking and filing meeting minutes
