Opportunity Description:

Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible one-on-one swimming instruction to swimmers with special needs. We are looking for volunteers for our swimming lessons in Winnipeg. WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A VOLUNTEER? Commit to 1 to 1.5 hours/ week depending on the location. Instruct basic swimming skills and water safety Form trusting relationships with children with special needs WHAT DO YOU NEED TO VOLUNTEER? To be 16 years or older To love working with children To be comfortable in the water To be patient To be looking for new experiences Available Locations: University of Manitoba running Saturdays from 4-5:30 and Elmwood Kildonan running Saturdays from 5-6:30.
