<strong>The Children’s Museum exists to spark kids’ creative learning. As a non-profit charitable organization, we believe in the potential of all children and provide an interactive learning environment that nurtures the power of imagination and spirit of self-discovery.</strong>

<h4 class="has-text-align-center">The Manitoba Down Syndrome Society is a non-profit organization that provides support, information and opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome, parents, professionals and other interested persons.</h4>

The Manitoba League of Persons with Disabilities (MLPD) is a provincial not-for-profit organization that promotes accessibility and inclusion for people of all abilities.

We are a group of experienced, diverse, influential and engaging staff and volunteers who educate and offer expert advice in a wide range of topics and issues relating to accessibility.

The Manitoba Women in Agriculture and Food (MWAF) works to empower women to achieve their career and business aspirations. MWAF also supports companies and industry organizations to advance diversity, equality and inclusion in the workplace.

We are a registered non-profit that advocates for all women in the entire agriculture and food processing sectors, from producers to the products and services sectors.

Under restorative justice diversion MS receives between 300 – 500 court referrals from the crown and Winnipeg Police. MS </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW214479474 BCX0">facilitates</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW214479474 BCX0"> the coming together of the person who did harm and the person who experienced harm using restorative principles to address harm and restore relationships. Finally, the training pillar of MS acts as a social enterprise and support</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW214479474 BCX0">s conflict engagement and mediation skill-building as well as practise opportunities and coaching for individuals and groups.</span></span><span class="EOP SCXW214479474 BCX0"> </span>

MCC Thrift mission is to support Mennonite Central Committee supporting relief, development and peace projects locally and around the world. MCC Thrift shops are community hubs offering low cost items and supporting community building through vibrant volunteer communities.

Niriqatiginnga is an Indigenous and youth-led non-profit organization that empowers Indigenous youth through arts, media, and cultural entrepreneurship. With a primary focus on food security, and food sector entrepreneurship, the program uses participatory approaches to training. Originating as a grassroots initiative, it focuses on addressing food insecurity, climate change adaptation, and community development in Northern Manitoba and Nunavut. Utilizing participatory research and community-driven methodologies, Niriqatiginnga fosters mentorship, governance, and management skills among Indigenous communities. The organization collaborates with various community partners and academic institutions to drive sustainability, resilience, and cultural preservation.

The Manitoba Chapter of the Ovarian Cancer Society holds a fundraising walk annually in September.  We are seeking volunteers for the event.

Parkinson Canada is the definitive voice for the Parkinson’s community in Canada. Our purpose is to transform the lives of people living with Parkinson’s. We do this through research leading to better treatments and the end of Parkinson’s, advocacy bringing the voices of Parkinson’s to the forefront and support that helps people live well with Parkinson’s through education and services. A national registered charity, Parkinson Canada operates through the generosity of donors and is an accredited organization under the Imagine Canada Standards Program.
