The Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts is a community music school that is committed to creating accessibility to music education and performance. We intend to be a musical home for all, regardless of socio economic status, geographic location or any other barriers one may face to participating. We offer general public programming and an extensive, diverse and funded outreach program called Music Equals. We often look for volunteers to work with students, special events, committees and every administrative opportunities.

IRCOM strives to empower newcomer families to integrate into the wider community through affordable transitional housing, programs, and services. IRCOM Objectives Housing: To provide safe and affordable transitional housing to low-income newcomer families in their 1st three years of living in Canada. Programming: To connect people with quality and accessible programs that support participants and community members to gain the tools they need to integrate and settle into Winnipeg life. The Rotary Club of Winnipeg, founded in 1910, was the first Rotary Club established outside of the United States, thus making Rotary an international movement.   We say that we are the “Club that Made Rotary International”.  Today, Rotary has more than 1.2 million members and 34,000 Clubs around the world. Pulford Community Living Services Inc., started in 1986, is a not-for-profit community based organization aimed at providing non-institutionalized residential and day supports for adults living with a developmental disability.

Our mission is to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.  Our key areas of focus are youth, education and awareness, public policy, technology and victim support. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities with our Chapter from board positions to special event support.  We meet once a month, if you would like to attend one of our meetings please email us to find out the date. No experience necessary to volunteer with us.  We provide all the training and support you need.

This April, Winnipeg plays host to the 2018 Save-on-foods Canadian Ringette Championships. Our success hinges on the support and participation of our wonderful community. The championship is from April 8 - 14, 2018. We are looking for volunteers to fill all types of positions for our event starting at the Opening Ceremonies on Sunday, April 8 at the Manitoba Centennial Concert Hall, continuing throughout the week at BellMTS IcePlex and Seven Oaks Arena and culminating on Saturday, April 14 with the Championship Medal Games at BellMTS Place and Closing Banquet at RBC Convention Centre. Volunteer duties may include: · Event set up · Ushering · Selling tournament passes · Selling 50-50 · Drivers · Penalty Box Gate Openers · Statisticians · Announcers (English and French)

Become part of the biggest contemporary arts and culture celebration in Manitoba! As a volunteer, you will receive a secret pack of goodies, show your support, and meet new friends and artists.   Culture Days is a collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. The 8th annual Culture Days weekend is September 29, 30 and October 1, 2017 and will feature thousands of free, hands-on, interactive arts and cultural activities.   Nuit Blanche Winnipeg (NBW) is a free all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art that takes place on the Saturday of the Culture Days weekend from dusk to dawn. Held annually since 2010, the events and exhibits attract thousands of people to the three zones of activity: St. Boniface, Downtown and the Exchange District. NBW 2017 will take place on Saturday, September 30.   Our applications will be reviewed and volunteers will be notified by the end of July or earlier.
